Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Tomahawks hockey team will hold tryout camps for prospective players this summer as part of preparations for their inaugural season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The next scheduled camps takes place in Prior Lake, Minnesota July 6-8. The Tomahawks will welcome the top players in the 16-20 age bracket.
Players will have the opportunity to display their skills during two on-ice practice sessions and scrimmage games, which will be held in the evenings. On the final day of each camp, special scrimmage games will be held for select players in order to help the staff complete their evaluations.
An additional tryout will be held and in Farmington, New Jersey July 13-15.
Players who impress the Tomahawks coaching staff during these camps will be invited to the Tomahawks main camp, to be held August 3-7 at Planet Ice in Johnstown, Pa.
