We had the chance to interview Mike Murphy of the Seattle Totems
about their upcoming travel schedule in the Western States Hockey League, and, about their "Open Camp" going on right now. Seattle
is the most north westerly team playing in the WSHL this coming season
and with that comes a huge travel commitment. The first 7 games of the
season are against two of the toughest teams - Southern Oregon and the
Idaho Jr. Steelheads. Southern beat Seattle for the Cascade Cup last
season and the Jr. Steelheads won the Thorne Cup. These first 7 games
right off the bat could set the tone for the entire season.
Then, the Totems hit the road beginning October 26th against
Ontario and then slowly make their way back through Salt Lake City, Ogden,
and Medford before returning home on November 23rd to take on the
Spartans.
Murph has always been a great guy and we love
interviewing him . . . very open and honest and let's you know exactly
what he is thinking. We would love to hear from you. Send us an email at: bsboyz@live.com or send a text or leave a message at 971-258-2840 GAME ON!!!
