The hometown Cataractes gave their fans a dose of Sunday cheer with their win over London. Remember what I said yesterday about the Royal Bank Cup? Now it's starting to make sense and I guess that is another good reason to play the games.
If this year's Robertson and Royal Bank Cups are any indicator, the Memorial Cup is about to get really interesting.
DAY 4 RECAP
Saint John Sea Dogs (1-1) vs. Edmonton Oil Kings (1-1)
Result: 5-2 Saint John
The Sea Dogs got a pair of goals from Zack Phillips and never looked back in the team's 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings.
My Pick Record: 2-2
DAY 5 PICK
Shawinigan Cataractes (1-1) vs. Edmonton Oil Kings (1-1)
The Cataractes played exceptionally well in their game against the London Knights while Edmonton is feeling burned after last night's loss to Saint John. The good teams are able to bounce back from a tough loss and I think that the Oil Kings fall into this category. The home team is solid, but Edmonton is going to win this.
What do you think?
