I'm hearing a little different story hear in the metro Detroit area. Rumor has it the teams not mentioned have five days to accept or refuse entry into the MNJHL. Can they only allow some teams in and deny others? I would guess the entire lge should be allowed to go or compensation could be in order.
Jeff, the teams not mentioned have chosen to stay in the GLJHL along with several new teams as the GLJHL becomes an AAU league next season. The teams that are joining the MnJHL wanted to stay as members of USA Hockey.
Great Lakes League is glorafied House League imho.

"Jeff, the teams not mentioned have chosen to stay in the GLJHL along with several new teams as the GLJHL becomes an AAU league next season." Has this been confirmed that these other teams chose this direction or has someone assumed it? Also, Tony fax me over your NHL player, coach or GM contract!
Yes, the league can pick and choose who they wish to allow in. As I stated before the teams that aren't moving to the MnJHL will most likely stay in the GLJHL, for details look at the first article on the GLJHL website http://www.gljhl.pointstreaksites.com/view/GLJHL
