EJHL ALUMNI UPDATE: SABRES SIGN KNAPP - Junior Hockey News

Buffalo, NY- Former Junior Bruins goaltender Connor Knapp has signed a two-year entry level contract with the Buffalo Sabres, as announced earlier today by the team.
Knapp recently completed his career at Miami University, where he played in 84 games. He finished with a 1.94 goals against average and a .918 save percentage with a 46-22-11 record. This past season, he started in 22 games and posted a 15-8 record, 1.69 goals against average, .933 save percentage, and five shutouts.
Prior to matriculating at Miami, the York, NY, native played with the Junior Bruins during the 2007-08 season, appearing in 25 games and posting a record of 14-7-2. He led the EJHL with a 2.02 goals against average and recorded a .925 save percentage and three shutouts.
Knapp was chosen by Buffalo in the sixth round (164th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
