EJHL ALUMNI UPDATE: MANGENE TO FLYERS - Junior Hockey News

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia Flyers signed EJHL alum Matt Mangene to an entry-level contract, the club announced yesterday.
Mangene recently completed his junior season at the University of Maine, picking up 16 goals and 18 assists in 40 games, during which he alternated between forward and defenseman. In 105 career games, he tallied 55 points (20 goals, 35 assists).
Mangene played for the South Shore Kings during the 2007-08 season, posting 12 goals and 19 assists (31 points) in 44 games. The following year, he played for the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs and scored 37 points (12 goals, 25 assists).
The undrafted free agent will report to the Flyers' AHL affiliate the Adirondack Phantoms.
