Perkins' Log, Monday, October 25th - Junior Hockey News
Published: Tuesday, 26 Oct 2010
Today was yet another long uneventful day for me here in Port Huron. Normally, Monday's are the beginning of a new practice week, but this week, Monday was our off day. Since it was our day off, I slept in for as long as I could; I could catch up on as much sleep as possible right now. Once I woke up, showered, and got ready for the day, I went upstairs and made a bunch of food for lunch. We just watched tv and waited around for a couple of the guys to come by before we all left together. Meyer needed to stop by Vitamin World in the mall, so we all tagged along to pass some time by.|
After we stuck around the mall for a little while, we stopped by BestBuy to check on which cables we needed for the projector we had. We had plenty of free time today, so we figured it'd be a good time to
get some errands out of the way. We both needed to cash our checks from our recent work, so we also made a stop at Chase Bank. We hung out for while until we finally went to Hooters for dinner and to watch
the football game. Our team is big into watching football, so I'm always stuck watching it as well. For most people, today would be a real boring day, but for us, days like these are necessary in the recovery process. We may need as much practice as possible, but to perform at your best every game, rest is extremely impotant. So now I'm going to get some rest, goodnight all!
