Stampede host Sioux City & Des Moines this week The Sioux Falls Stampede (10-7-1) return home this Wednesday to face the Sioux City Musketeers at 7:05 PM. It marks the first time this season the two teams have met in Sioux Falls. The Herd will then travel to Sioux City on Saturday before returning home on Sunday to host the Des Moines Buccaneers at 6:05 PM. The Stampede have not faced the Bucs yet this season.
Carrie Underwood honored by Stampede The Stampede honored country music star Carrie Underwood prior to her concert Sunday night at the Sioux Falls Arena. The club made her an honorary member of the team.
Underwood said she was "touched" by the gesture and added she would proudly wear the jersey. Underwood is married to NHL forward Mike Fisher who plays for the Ottawa Senators.
Help the Food Pantry this week The Stampede are teaming up with the Sioux Falls Arena to help the local Food Pantry in Sioux Falls this Wednesday and Sunday.
The Stampede are asking fans to bring in canned food items to the arena to help the food pantry. Fans who bring in canned items will receive $3-off the best available seat for the game against the Musketeers on Wednesday or the Buccaneers on Sunday! Fans can bring in canned goods and purchase tickets in advance at the arena box office or just prior to the game. Please help those less fortunate this holiday season.
$1 Beer this Wednesday! Fans attending the Stampede/Musketeers game this Wednesday can enjoy taps of Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Light for just $1! Don"t miss the Stampede this Wednesday night!
Applebee"s/Stampede Bus Trip this Saturday! Applebee"s in Sioux Falls is offering Stampede fans an opportunity to take a fan bus to see the Herd face the Sioux City Musketeers in Sioux City this Saturday. For just $17, fans will receive bus transportation to and from the game and a game ticket.
The bus will depart at 5 PM from the Applebee"s Empire East location and will return immediately following the game. There needs to be a minimum of 47 people signed up in order for the trip to take place. Please note that this is a NO smoking and NO drinking bus.

Holiday Family Feast December 14 Mark your calendars for next Tuesday, December 14th for the Stampede "Holiday Family Feast" at Pizza Ranch on West 41st Street and in Tea from 5:30-8 PM.
Fans are encouraged to bring in new unwrapped gifts to the event. All unwrapped gifts will be donated to the local Sioux Falls Jaycees "Toys for Tots" program.
In addition, fans who donate a gift will receive a special discount off their dinner bill that night. Stampede players will be on hand, waiting on tables and signing autographs throughout the night!
Nodl heating up for Philly Former Stampede star Andreas Nodl continued his strong play over the weekend for the Philadelphia Flyers. On Saturday, Nodl assisted on the Flyers first goal and finished the night a plus-3 as the Flyers topped the New Jersey Devils 5-3 at home.
