HARTFORD JUNIOR WOLFPACK (14-9) VS NORTHERN MASS CYCLONES (18-6)
The Wolfpack currently sitting in 4th place travel to 2nd place Northern Mass Cyclones in a weekend series.
The Pack has been backboned all year by the outstanding play between the pipes by Brian Haude. Haude has a 2.95 GAA and a 91 save %. The Pack scoring has come from Sean Loebs (25Pts) Remo Hunsicker (20) and Seric Kapp and Nick Belger both with (18pts).
The Cyclones has been led by the great goaltending recently by Brian Fleming who is sporting a 2.08 GAA since been traded to the Cyclones from the Bulldogs. The Cyclones scoring has been provided by John McGinnis (40pts), Mike Naso (39pts) and Jared Henderson (30pts).
The Pack are riding a 3 game winning streak. The Cyclones are riding a 5 game winning streak.
JERSEY HITMEN (22-0-1) VS SOUTH SHORE KINGS (15-7-3)
Jersey Hitmen look to continue their unbeaten streak as they play 2nd place of the Southern Conference South Shore Kings for the 2nd weekend in a row. The Hitmen currently have a 11 point lead on the Kings with 3 games in hand as well.
The Hitmen are led by some high scoring forwards in Brian Sheehan (43pts) and Matt Willows (42pts). The Hitmen special teams are on fire thus far this season having 42 power play goals and 7 of the shorthanded variety. The Hitmen have allowed a paltry 37 goals ( best in the league) in 23 games for an average of 1.61 a game.
The Kings are led by a pair of high scoring forwards in their own right in Robbie Davis (39pts)and Jake Friedman (33pts). The Kings special teams are also on same incredible pace as the Hitmen as they have 38 power play goals and 7 shorthanded type.
NEW ENGLAND STARS (21-5-1) VS EASTERN KODIAKS (14-9)
The Stars currently in first place has a 3 point lead over 2nd place Cape Cod Cubs. The Stars are looking to rebound from being swept by the Boston Blackhawks last weekend.
The Stars will be looking to take it out on someone and the someone one will be the Kodiaks. The Stars are being led by Roy Monson (57pts) and Danny Loughlin (56pts).
The Kodiaks are led by Joey Fernandes (38pts) and Cody Blevins (33pts). The Kodiaks are on a 2 game winning streak.
NEW JERSEY TITANS (20-0) VS LONG ISLAND ROYALS (17-3)
The highlight of the weekend will be the top two teams in the Mullen Division faceoff. This matchup will pose the tight checking and defensive Titans versus the high scoring Royals.
The Titans are being led by David Ramos (33pts). The goalie tandem of Vincent Padula (1.43 GAA) and Christopher Marsillo (2.31 GAA) by far the best in the league in look to keep the Titans perfect.
The Royals high offense is led by league leader Frank DiChara (55pts), Gregory Cartwright (51pts) and Vincent Caliguri (30pts).
The Royals are on a 7 game winning streak and looking to close the gap between them and the Titans and give them their first blemish.
MASS MAPLE LEAFS (11-1-1) VS BOSTON JUNIOR BRUINS (11-3-1)
The Leafs looking to repeat their efforts of beating the Bruins last weekend (8-4) take on the 2nd place Bruins in another important conference battle. The Bruins are the only league opponent to beat the Leafs thus far (5-2).
The Leafs are riding a seven game winning streak. The Leafs are led by Jarred Mitrano (24 pts) defenseman Rob Berg both with (20pts) and CJ Cordeiro (18pts). The Leafs defense being led by junior veterans of Berg, PJ Burnham and Bret Zimmerman along with goalie leader Boyd Zinger have only allowed 29 goals for a 2.23 average.
The Bruins are looking to rebound from last weekends loss. The Bruins are led by two Junior veterans in Davy Johnson (31pts) and Richard Byrne (30pts). The Bruins defense has also compiled an impressive 3.06 goals average allowing 46 goals in 15 games.
NEW HAMPSHIRE JR MONARCHS (12-7-2) VS SYRACUSE STARS (18-4-2)
Both teams are looking to move up in their respective conferences. This should be a very interesting tilt as two of the better teams in the league square off.
The Stars are led by Charles Burmaster (48pts) and Anthony Bird (40pts). The Stars have 38 power plays goals thus far this season.
The Monarchs are led by Stephen Miller (22pts) and Kyle Lajeunesse (20pts). The Narchs have an amazing 9 shorthanded goals this season. The Narchs are looking to gain some ground as they trail the conference leader South Shore Kings by 9 points.
