2010 was a very good year for AmericanJuniorHockey.com, but 2011, and the third year of the site, promises to be explosive. We will make the dramatic format switch from the blogger to online magazine in the next month and the new A-List module will be a great opportunity to market and locate prospects.
One of the most important new features of the site will be the rotating graphical lead stories. This is where we need your help. Like any magazine, images are everything. We want to give readers an inside glimpse of what junior hockey is all about and will need photographers that would like to feature their work on our site.
Youtube video buffs will also enjoy the site's new video feature. We are very excited about this and look forward to showcasing the latest highlights from the level of play.
We are also talking with a number of radio professionals about producing a weekly one hour show dedicated to junior hockey here in the United States. This show will be given away to stations around the country and be available directly from the site.
The bottom line is simple, AmericanJuniorHockey.com is about you. I'll always write, but the bulk of the content comes directly from the leagues and teams, let's make 2011 the year where that effort is stepped up to an entirely new level.
