There has never been a better time to join us here at AmericanJuniorHockey.com. We are looking for both writers with a fresh spin on the game and A-List Representatives that can reach out to the their own local hockey communities with our dynamic new product.
The site will begin to see major changes within the next two weeks. The first phase will be the changeover from Blogger.com to the new online new format. Next, the forum and membership sections will be added. The third and most important phase, the A-List of Hockey Prospects, should be fully functional by May 15th.
The A-list profiles will feature not only the prospects bio, but also embedded youtube.com video that prospects have access to update as needed.
Both prospects, and coaches following the prospects, will be able to receive update alerts. The prospect gets an alert if he (or she) fails to update the profile for fifteen days, and the followers get an alert when the profile is updated.
Contact with the prospects has also been filtered with a secure system that alerts the prospect when a new message comes in. Another key feature is the ability for prospects to identify just who is following their progress.
For our content providers and partners, we are rolling out a new article module that allows the direct submission of content. Content partners will be able to upload pictures with articles to be featured in our eight-space rotation.
The forum is also innovative as we are looking at an interface with Facebook. One of the most popular features of our site in the past has been the ability to comment on the article. With the new site, your comment will also be seen in the forum, and comments from the forum will also be seen at the bottom of the story.
Membership has its privileges. Only members will be able to comment, submit content, create forum topics, or make contact with our prospects. The days of the anonymous flamers are numbered. The basic membership is free.
The purpose? To become THE online community for the junior level of play. A site where fans, coaches, and prospects get their news, search for players, or communicate important information with the rest of the community.
You are going to love the new AmericanJuniorHockey.com. Want to join the team? Contact me directly at 832-445-9983 or stephenheisler@aol.com
