Good for AJ getting a D1 deal he is the epitome of a hard working player who never lets up a true team player from what I seen. The Warriors should have more players get D1 commits in the next 1-2 year i.e. Gorsuch, Mantha, Prpich, Bobby Mantha.

hi Randy:
Dont know if you were at the Soo Eagles Tryout Camp on the Weekend but I have heard alot of bitching from a few of the TC players who did not like that they had to attend this Camp.

John,
Those TC boys better figure out quick that Bruno is not going to put up with a lot of bitching. Doing so will quickly result in a trade to places like Bismarck, Minot, or even Kenai River.

re: Soo Eagles coach Bruno Bragagnolo.
Bruno is a fair guy, one of the most-fair hockey coaches who I have met in 35+ years of covering junior hockey. He does not have much time for prima donnas. Enough said.

why would Kenai River be mentioned with Bismark or Minot as places to be traded to. Looks to me like Kenai is moving in the right direction and placing kids at the college level.

Ron,
I love Kenai River and grew up near there. What I say about the area is done with years of affection.
Kenai River (and Fairbanks) have a Canada-Like love affair with the game but it takes a different kind of player to appreciate the local atmosphere. Unlike Michigan...when you get off the plane there is still a long drive to get to the community.
Once you are there, it is going to take some time to adjust to the local customs and vibe. The team is called the Brown Bears for a reason, the area's real Brown Bears are the second largest on the planet and second only to the Kodiaks (the island is just a short hop from the Kenai Peninsula).
Soldotna Alaska is not the end of the road...but it is pretty close.
Oh, they do get a bit of snow there as well. Players from "the lower 48" are shocked to know that folks have to dig a path around their house in order to let the sunshine in. Snow removal from the roofs of homes is considered a great hockey job.
Guys can buy beef, but will get fed a lot of seafood and moose. Moose meat is fantastic and the boys will learn to love it...if they make it past Christmas.

thanks for the post. If a young man is use to snow and smaller towns- sure seems like it would be a great experience.

Jack,
Not a shot, but a majority of NAHL (and USHL) teams don't have ticket information released for next season. The CC Ice Rays get an A+ for getting a jump and putting that information out there, but they are the exception...The other organizations are going through preparations for upcoming Drafts, Tryout Camps, finding Billet Families... I'm sure once we get through the end of the Playoffs, most of these organizations will release info for the upcoming 2012-13 season.
You could also try calling the Perani ticket office to ask if they have released the ticket prices for next season (810) 744-0580...Usually, they'll send out information to the Season Ticket holders first, then announce to the general public.
Best Regards.

Thanks to Mike and Jack.I did inquire about Warriors Season Tickets after I seen the Press Release from Corpus Christi and their Season Ticket Pkgs that they are offering which I must say do seem to be "fan friendly" packages.
Also thanks for the Phone # for Perani's Ticket Office.
