The Red Light District - Anthony Stolarz Interview

Never once have the Boyz had to pretend to be something their not. Just two guys spending time in front of the mic doing what they enjoy. Wait, let me rephrase that . . . spending time in their local Irish drinking ...

Greg and Steve did a really good job with Anthony...excellent discussion and it sounds like the young goaltender has his head on straight.

Anthony really was a lot of fun to interview. Smart, bright and talented kid that should make some noise this year and in years to come!

Great interview, while I'm sad I only got to watch Anthony play one season down here in Corpus Christi. He has one heck of a future ahead of him and I wish him nothing but the best. It will feel strange wearing an orange Stolie jersey as a Blackhawks fan, then again I think I get the better deal regardless.

Jon,
That is what being involved with a Junior team does to you... our support tends to go with the players wherever they go.

I had the pleasure of watching Scotty Gomez evolve from Anchorage's Boys Club Bulldogs youth program to lifting the Stanley Cup... it never mattered what sweater he pulled over his head, I felt there was a connection to that team because of him.

The same can be said for many other players as well. BJ Young, Ty Conklin, and Brian Swanson are a few others.

Folks, it is inevitable, it does not matter if you are in Corpus Christi, Odessa, or even Topeka, if Anthony does well, we all win. All of you that have seen him play took a small part in his development and will be happy if he is able to be successful.
