So I saw a post on the TEHL facebook page from a fan that I didn't think was very nice at all so I posted the link to the article that Mr Heisler wrote and a few hours later I got this message from the owner of the Daytona Beach Blaze, a team in the TEHL.
Michael Chighisola: Devin, I am truly praying that we someday get to meet! I am very interested in your opinion in all matters "hockey." Maybe you can enlighten me, as I have limited experience, unlike yourself! Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas!
Me: I don't think someone who played in the CCHA, ACHL, AAHL, ECHL, and CHL Really has limited experience.
Him: Then please don't question what we do or I do down here in the TEHL. When it is MY money that I am spending, and I am only trying to help some kids, please do not take it upon yourself to speak like you have first hand knowledge of the situation. I am asking you to please let me help kids and to please let me run my business without interference from a third-party that has no financial or personal stake in this. Thanks for your time!
I then just told him how I've never said a bad word about his league publicly and what he does in the TEHL is none of my business and the only things i've ever said were about the lies the leagues owner Sterling Wright had to say. (Which can be seen here http://www.juniorhockey.com/news/news_detail.php?new)
I tried to be civil with him and it obviously doesn't work.
Congratulations on your first interview for the league Mr. Chighisola.
