Just a thought. I know I've seen this topic discussed before. What are people's thoughts on players developed through the USNTDP opting for Canadian Major Junior as opposed to US College Hockey? How would people feel about USNTDP players being required to commit to US Colleges before joining the NTDP?

I can't speak for those who prefer the CHL over College, but some believe that playing in the CHL is a quicker path to the pros. If someone prefers to play in either the WHL, OHL or QMJHL instead of going the College route or vice versa, good for them. There are those who take it very seriously, but at the end of the day, they're just kids and it's their choice.
