Unless you can connect it to Lebron James or the New York Yankees, I can't see ESPN getting involved.....

Every league has teams who operate their franchise with questionable ethics. The EJHL is not the only Junior League in which top players don't pay. The AJHL, NA3HL, WSHL I personal know players who never paid a cent to play in these leagues. Then on the NAHL side of things I know of players who didn't pay any billet fees. This is hard to prove because what kid is going to ruin his D1 scholarship for these violations. The great thing about this is if any players went to D3 none of this is a violation due to no athletic scholarship.

As far as ESPN A good story is a good story and this story could implicate many current D1 Players, college teams and coaches. When the NCAA starts to be brought up in conversation ESPN is sure to follow.

What there needs to be is a league/USA Hockey Standard contract that is signed by the player/his parents/and the team spelling out what paid for by whom for each of the leagues.
What do the parents pay for?
What do the team pay for?
When are payments required to be paid?
Check copies to be sent to the league
