Daily Dish: Tropical (Depression of a) Hockey League?
Is Facebook the place to launch a new junior hockey league? I don't think so but that has not stopped Stirling Wright and his sputtering Tropical Elite Hockey League. We last updated the ... Read More...
So how long until Stirling Wright starts a "gofundme" site to raise the money to sue you Stephen? This is hilarious but I feel sorry for the kids and parents that are being taken in by this con artist.
Also signed is the highly entertaining American/Scottish Goalie, Stirling A. Wright. The young 16 year old, 65 195lbs, goalie played last season as an underage player and goalie at the Junior A level in Montana and Michigan. Stirling is well known as a tough and much feared competitor not just as a goalie but also as a forward. He has the ability to put fans on their feet and opponents on their seats. Known as SAW, he also participates in MMA and is an avid fisherman. SAW has trained with Marc Champagne the goalie coach for current NHL goalies Jaroslav Halak and Jonathan Bernier while they were in juniors, Frantz-Jean the Tampa Bay Lightning goalie coach and Michel Valliere the junior goalie coach for numerous NHL draft picks. He carries a 3.9 GPA and wants to attend a top college and study to be either a Doctor or Lawyer.
Yesterday, Stephen Heisler, the number 1 enemy of the TEHL, released an article on his website, JuniorHockey.com. In it, he describes the league as "staggering", and would go on to mock the league, the commissioner, Mr. Wright, and even had the nerve to call the parents of players "gullible". He would also attack the player donation fund to financially assist those who need it, he attacked an unnamed coach in the league, and would even criticize the very players of the league. Again, I assure you all, these are all vicious and conniving lies. Do not believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
Thank You for your continued support of the Tropical Elite Hockey League. We cannot wait to start the 2012-13 and prove this liar wrong.
That was on their Facebook today if you haven't seen it
