What is so amusing about it? That is the scenario that was laid out before the tournament even started. Top two teams in each pool advance to the semi-finals.

Even if it were not to be based on pool play I would argue that Texas should advance over Port Huron as they won the head to head match up, and had two overtime losses as opposed to Port Huron's two regulation losses.
