Any mention of the Sea Dogs is remiss without out Jonathan Huberdeau's name coming up. Drafted 3rd in last years NHL draft behind Edmonton's Ryan-Nugent Hopkins and Colorado's Gabriel Landeskog and being awarded the MVP in last year's Memorial cup I think he will have a lot to do with the outcome of 2012 Memorial Cup. After all, most NHL hockey analysts believe that he would have been an impact player in the NHL this year and really cant understand why he is still playing Jr hockey.

The NHL-CHL slavery agreement makes sure that top level players, that don't make the NHL roster, are returned to their junior team to waste away a year of development. Huberdeau's career took a step back this season if anything because he had already "been there, done that" at this level of play.
